Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee our nursing team. The DON will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents, compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a supportive environment for staff and residents alike.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines.
Supervise and support the nursing team, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to deliver exceptional care.
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Manage the nursing department budget effectively.

Daily Duties
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for residents.
Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities to improve care standards.
Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, promoting professional growth.
Address resident and family concerns, ensuring satisfaction and effective communication.

Qualifications
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership role in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to long-term care.
Proven leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to resident-centered care and quality improvement.
